BIOGRAPHY: David Lapham
I grew up in a small town in Iowa. After graduation from high school I attended college for a semester then enlisted in the U. S. Marines. After three years I received an appointment to the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis and upon graduation I was commissioned in the Marine Corps. I retired from the Marines, moved to Orlando, my wife’s hometown, and have lived there ever since.
I have been a voracious life-long reader of both fiction and nonfiction and have written casually from an early age. About 15 years ago I began to take writing more seriously and have written two books, published by Pineapple Press: Ghosts of St. Augustine and Ancient City Hauntings – More Ghosts of St. Augustine. I am now working on a variety of other projects, including a memoir and biography.
I am a storyteller with a life-long fascination with the thin places, those mystical edges between the seen and the unseen.
I am a member of the National Writers Association.

I am a teller of stories-ghost stories!
I’m no psychic or ghost chaser, but I like to collect tales. And, although I have never actually seen a ghost, I have had some weird experiences-like many others. In fact, I think that just about everyone has had an experience that they couldn’t explain, so if you’ve got a story I’d love to hear it.
